Hospital Management System (HMS)
HMS is a hospital management project at Kabul Code Lab. It focuses on hospital administration, employee records, and access control, with separate data scopes for each hospital and controlled access across hospital groups.
My role
I work on this project as a Software Engineer & Product Manager, developing MVC-based hospital management software and working with stakeholders to turn operational needs into application features. I use Docker in the development workflow and collaborate through Git, code reviews, and GitHub.
Features
- Hospital provisioning and administration, including hospital profiles, user accounts, and module subscriptions.
- Hospital-specific roles and feature/action permissions, with validated switching between eligible hospitals in a group.
- Employee registration, search, profiles, addresses, photographs, and document management, with hospital-scoped access.
- Printable employee lists and Excel exports.
- English and Persian interfaces with LTR/RTL layouts and Gregorian/Shamsi date support.
Architecture and technology
The application uses C#, ASP.NET Core 10 MVC, and Razor views. Entity Framework Core connects it to MySQL, with Docker providing an independent local database for development.
The application uses a modular architecture, with hospital-specific data and access controls.
The interface uses Bootstrap, Stimulus, and Sass, with shared controls for forms, dialogs, tables, and date fields.
